Don Clayhold – Pasco, Washington – Sportsman N391TD – Transition Training

In order to obtain insurance coverage for the first flight of my Sportsman tail dragger the insurance company required 5 hours of training in the same make and model aircraft.  I scheduled the training with Alan Negrin Aviation Services, LLC.  Alan is based in Arlington, Washington and my training was done in his beautiful tail dragger on a perfect weather day with some breeze for cross wind training.  We flew the required 5 hours in and around the San Juan Islands in Puget Sound.  I found Alan to be thorough and professional.  I felt very comfortable and confident during the first flight of my Sportsman.  The flight is on YouTube.
